Members at the September meeting enjoyed a fascinating demonstration of felting by Suzanne Pusecker. What a fun lady! If you visit the FAA website you can view Jim Scherer’s photos of Suzanne which capture her delight and enthusiasm in her art process.

Can you believe that summer is almost over! Did you find time to create Art? I hope that your summer has been more artistically productive than mine. I will be very glad to trade my fence painting brush for my watercolor brush as the weather gets cooler.

It is with a degree of sadness, and yet a feeling of accomplishment, that I write this last note to you as your FAA president. It has been an exciting 4 years serving as your president, and the Fairborn Art Association is a great group to lead. You are truly wonderful people, representing as you do the many great qualities of artists in this world. What would this world of ours be without artists–pretty dull, wouldn't you think?
